Go Pink: Gadgets for a Cause
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women, except for skin cancer. The chance of developing invasive breast cancer at some point in a woman’s life is a little less than 1 in 8 or 12%.
According to the American Cancer Society more than 230,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed this year and about 39,000 women will die from breast cancer. While research and awareness continues, many organizations still need your help to keep the research going.
Luckily there are small things you can do to help, by simply watching what you buy. Look for the pink ribbon on containers at the grocery store, many companies will donate a portion of the proceeds to breast cancer research. And it doesn’t stop there.
Did you know you that you can support the cause simply by buying a computer mouse or the latest tech gadget, all you have to do is search for “tech gadgets for a cause.” Here are some fun products I found.
