The Perfect Outfit Idea to Transition From Winter to Spring
For most of you mamas out there, March is that tricky month when it’s beginning to warm up, but it’s not quite warm enough for you to fully embrace spring fashion. That’s where a transitional look comes into play.
A classic white button down is seasonless as the sleeves can be rolled up when the temps warrant it or layered with a cute cardigan when there’s still a bit of a nip in the air. Layering is clutch when you’re dealing with schizophrenic temperatures. You may be shivering in the morning, for instance, and then sweatin’, or glistening as I like to call it, later in the day. You could go one step further than the cardy and layer a tank underneath your button down, so if you get really hot, you can simply strip down. Not fully, of course…just down to your tank. Get your minds out of the gutter ladies. Haha!
Colored denim is another piece that you can sport year ‘round. By adding a bright accessory and some espadrille flats, you’ll have a look that has a perfectly springy vibe, while making use of some pieces that aren’t necessarily one season appropriate.
Here in the sunshine state, we said goodbye to our cool weather quite a while ago, so I would even consider throwing on my rolled sleeve button down over the sweet little sundress I’m rockin’ on the regular right now. Once that wicked heat of ours comes, those air conditioners get cranked up and it can be downright chilly inside! Of course, I’m extremely pregnant and may just have my AC set WAY lower than normal folks…but I digress.
