Style Advice: How Real Moms Can Wear Prints
Wearing prints can be a scary prospect for those mamas that are print weary, but it doesn’t have to be! There are so many beautiful prints available this season and whether you go bold or more subdued with your print, there is a way for every mom to work them into her wardrobe.
If you’re ready to make a major statement, you can rock a big, bold print from head to toe like my friend Megan of The Frugalista Diaries. This mama of two is wearing a modern print maxi in a neutral color palette which gives her long lean lines and her vintage bag and scarf add a bit of print mixing to her look. Did I mention that she’s only 5’3”? Who says us height challenged girls can’t pull off maxis?
If a print that bold simply isn’t for you, why not try wearing your prints in accessory form? Here I am, eight months preggers baby bump and all, sporting a solid maxi that’s set off by my striped clutch and bangles. You won’t catch me wearing any huge prints these days…My belly is huge enough without drawing THAT much attention to it. Haha! But I have so much fun working in my love for prints in other ways! By the way, it’s been a while since I showed my readers over at my blog, BonBon Rose Girls, my baby bump, so you’re in for a real treat today. I know…I know…You’re trying to control your excitement right? Haha!
So, whether you’re ready to take the bull by the horns and really go for it or whether you want to start off by taking baby steps, wearing a gorgeous print is easy as pie!
