I am the mother of two amazing children.  Joseph is 15 years old and is a very gifted wrestler and football player.  In eighth grade he was the Dade County Champion in wrestling and number two in the state.  My daughter Jessica is a dancer.  She devotes all of her time to dance and I support all her goals and aspirations in this art form. 

I am Colombian.  I came to the United States when I was 11 years old - it was a dream of mine to live in the States and I have loved it ever since I moved here.  My mom was a professional dancer with the National Ballet of Colombia.  She toured all over the world and even worked in Epcot Center in Disney for a year.  My father was a very respected Captain (pilot).  My parents divorced when I was very young and my mother was a single mother with two children.  She taught us the valuable lesson of hard work and dedication in everything we did.  I am a paralegal and I love the legal field.  I have helped many clients and I could say that they have better lives thanks to the myself and the attorneys I work for.  My husband is a Traffic Homicide Detective and finds no greater joy than to assist the community. 

Yes I am a crazy dance mom but I do it for my daughter and her love of dance. I want to make sure she achieves all of her goals and dreams, especially since I never had the opportunity to do the same.
