I'm a proud mama, wife and the author behind the Sugar and Charm Blog. I have an insatiable passion for entertaining, parties, crafting and baking! I find joy from the simple things in life, day trips with my family and entertaining for others. My goal in life is to be the best mother I can be and to create a sweet and memorable life for my son and future kiddos.
Q: How many children do you have? One, but I want to have at least three... maybe four ;)
Q: Where do you live? I live in Los Angeles. I grew up in a tiny coastal town in Northern California called Crescent City. I moved to LA right after high school to continue my education. I met my husband and have never left!
Q: What's your astrological sign? Leo
Q: What is one of your favorite quotes? I have so many favorite quotes! It's hard to pick one so here are just a few of my favorites...
"I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear" Martin Luther King, Jr.
"All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother." Abraham Lincoln
"The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing." Walt Disney
Q: What TV or movie character are you most like? I think I'm a mix between Sandra Bullock’s character in “The Blind Side,” where she plays a compassionate, strong woman with a little sass and Donna Reed of “The Donna Reed Show.” On the show, she was a wonderful mother, role model and a strong woman with a good sense of humor. I also like her character in “It's A Wonderful Life.”
Q: If you could have dinner with three famous people (dead or alive), who would you invite? Abraham Lincoln, Princess Diana, Oprah Winfrey (If Oprah can't make it, Ryan Gosling will do.)
Q: What is your biggest vice? Sweets in the morning!
Q: What makes you feel sexy? Being in shape, taking care of myself and wearing heels.
Q: What's your most memorable ballsy moment? Confronting a mother who was neglecting her child in the middle of a store. My heart ached and I couldn't go about my day if I didn't stand up for that baby.
Q: If your life was a Lifetime Movie it would be called... Life is Short, Eat a Cupcake... Then Bake One for a Child in Need.
