About Me:

Erika Lehmann is a former high school French teacher turned freelance writer and on-camera host for the fashion, beauty, travel and parenting industries. She is currently a single mom of one, but that will change in November when she marries her fiancé and welcomes a wonderful stepson to her family. Erika and her daughter are frequent flyers, Disney fanatics, football fans, iPhone addicts, beach lovers, organic eaters, avid swimmers and best friends. Currently they make their home in the New Orleans metro area with a betta fish named Puppy.

Q:  How many children do you have?

A: I have one beautiful four-year-old little girl named Audrey Grace, who is the light of my life. I'm also looking forward to becoming a step-mommy to an adorable five-year-old boy when I marry the man of my dreams in November.

Q:  Where do you live and how did you end up there?

A: I am a lifelong resident of New Orleans. My family can be traced back to the founding of the city and is well-rooted here, so I've always been a very proud Southern girl.

Q: What’s your astrological sign?

A: Leo. Rawr.

Q: If your life was made into a Lifetime Movie, what would it be called?

A: “Never a Dull Moment.”

Q: What is one of your favorite quotes?

A: “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.” –Coco Chanel

Q: What TV or movie character are you most like?

A: I am, hands down, Charlotte from “Sex and the City.” My sorority sisters in college gave me the nickname "Prissy," and I'll admit it was fitting. I'm a bit naive, very girly, somewhat prissy, embrace tradition, have a big heart and a very classic approach to my life. However, I'm not afraid to mix it up a little when I need to.

Q: If you could have dinner with three famous people (dead or alive), who would you invite?

A: Coco Chanel, for her incredible vision and determination; French actress Audrey Tautou, because I find her incredibly intriguing and she was the inspiration for my daughter's name; and Prince William and Catherine Middleton (I'm counting them as one!), because honestly, I just think it'd be cool to be friends with them.

Q: What is your biggest vice?

A: Dessert.

Q: What makes you feel sexy?

A: On a daily basis? My incredible fiancé, who always makes me feel like the only woman in the room. Otherwise, a great dress, a spritz of perfume, knee-high boots with tights, a nice tan, white bikinis, wearing my hair long and wavy, and playing up my eyes with fun makeup.

Q: What’s your most memorable ballsy moment?

A: At age 25, as a high school French teacher, I took 33 high school students to London, Paris and the French Riviera for a 10-day trip. I organized the entire thing from start to finish, and even had my then 17-month-old daughter in tow. Pretty ballsy, if you ask me.

Q: Fill in this blank: “I celebrate life by _________.”

A: Going after the things that I want, and not sitting around waiting for things to happen.
