Kelcey Kintner
About Me:
I've worked in the White House, been a TV reporter and earned a journalism degree from Columbia University. But nothing has ever kicked my bum like motherhood. I'm the mother of four young children. I write at The Mama Bird Diaries, a humor parenting blog and co-founded The Mouthy Housewives, a cheeky advice site. I used to be addicted to yoga. I'm now addicted to candy and sitcoms that only last one season. I'm hoping yoga makes a comeback.
Q&A:
Q: How many children do you have?
A: 4 kids (including twins)
Q: Where do you live? (were you born there or how did you end up there?)
A: I live in New York. I grew up in this area but it's my not-so-secret desire to move somewhere much much warmer. Please bug my husband about this.
Q: What’s your astrological sign?
A: Cancer
Q: If your life was made into a Lifetime Movie, what would it be called?
A: "Do You Think I Could Ditch My Gold Minivan and Fit All Four Kids on a Vespa!?"
Q: What is one of your favorite quotes?
A: My high school yearbook quote... "Risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. Only a person who takes risks is free."
Q: What TV or movie character are you most like?
A: I want to be like Carrie from "Sex in the City" but I suspect I'm more like Meg Ryan's character in "When Harry Met Sally."
Q: If you could have dinner with three famous people (dead or alive), who
would you invite?
A: Elvis (younger years please!)
Princess Diana
President John F. Kennedy
(Is it depressing that they are all dead?!)
Q: What is your biggest vice?
A: Eating candy
Q: What makes you feel sexy?
A: Stick straight freshly highlighted sassy hair
Q: What’s your most memorable ballsy moment?
A: Jumping on the back of a cute guy's motorcycle at 3 am in Madrid and riding around the city. Damn, does anybody know how I can be 20 again?
