About Me:

A bit shy, I’ve always been more comfortable sharing my thoughts and feelings by writing them down. I love blogging for its ability to connect me with other like-minded women: new moms unsure if they’re doing it right, military wives who’d rather not be in that role, career women who decided to leave the rat race. I may not have the answers (okay, I don’t have any answers), but I can get the conversation started!

Q:  How many children do you have?

A:   So far, just one son!

Q:  Where do you live? (were you born there or how did you end up there?)

A:   Born and raised in New Jersey, I imagined I’d always be living somewhere on the East Coast. Somehow my now-husband convinced me to leave my New York City apartment and publicity career to join him in Omaha, Nebraska. I’ve been living in Middle America since 2007.

A: Aries

Q: What is one of your favorite quotes?

A:  “Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.”

A: Angela Chase from “My So-Called Life”

A:  Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm and Stephen Colbert

Q: What is your biggest vice?

A: Ben & Jerry’s Chubby Hubby ice cream

A: Getting a professional blowout

Q: What’s your most memorable ballsy moment?

A: Getting engaged to a guy I’d only dated for 10 months—the entirety of which was long distance—and then moving to Omaha for him!
