I’m a professionally trained Chef, freelance food writer, food correspondent, recipe developer, contributing cookbook editor, wife and a full-time mom of 2. I write the food blog Tweet-N-Eats where I dive into my passion for fresh ingredients, share my easy everyday recipes and help you to entertain while enjoying your own dinner party. “Cooking is not a labor of love, it’s just... love!”
I also spice things up a bit on my blog with some fashion tips and restaurant reviews for date nights. Every mom needs to feel sexy on Saturday night.
Q: How many children do you have?
A: My son, Costas is 12 and my daughter, Isabella is 9. Both are filled with passion, wild imagination and spunk. It’s the hardest job being a mom but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love em’ to pieces and it’s my goal to help them find their passions and encourage them to live their dreams.
Q: Where do you live?
A: I live in the “Garden State.” Also known as the “Home of the Jersey Tomato!” I long for our seasonal fresh produce! ahhh!
Q: What’s your astrological sign?
A: Aries. I never read my horoscope; I’d rather live each day not knowing what’s to come and face it head on. I guess I am a true Ram!
Q: What is one of your favorite quotes?
A: “Everything in moderation... including moderation.” - Julia Child
Q: What TV or movie character are you most like?
A: Carrie Bradshaw for the fashion, Ina Garten for the food with a dose of Gordon Ramsey for knowing exactly what I want and not settling for anything less.
Q: If you could have dinner with three famous people (dead or alive), who would you invite?
A: Julia Child, Coco Chanel and Madonna..... ooohhh! I just got goose bumps at the thought of it!
Q: What is your biggest vice?
A: 60% off online holiday sales. I sit by the computer with bated breath on Christmas Eve, waiting for the clock to strike midnight.
Q: What makes you feel sexy?
A: 5-inch platform pumps by Charlotte Olympia. The right shoe will bring out your inner goddess.
Q: What’s your most memorable ballsy moment?
Handing Kelly Ripa my business card and asking her to check out my food blog and to tell all her friends. The way I look at it, nothing ventured, nothing gained. But funny thing is that I really didn’t think it was that ballsy but my friends told me it was.
Q: If your life was a Lifetime Movie it would be called…
A: “The Fearless Fighter”
