I was raised in Yemassee, SC and spent some time in Ridgeland, SC in 1997.  I first met my husband Darnell at the Agape Christian Academy, and we got married in 1999. We started our family in October 2001 when we had Hunter.  Our daughter, Bailey, was born in October of 2004.  I had a career in banking from 1998 to 2008 until I decided to quit my job and be a stay at home mother.  The mayor of Yemassee, JL Goodwin, is my Uncle.
