Create a TasteBook Cookbook
Have you ever wanted to create your own cookbook but didn’t think it was possible or maybe it was too expensive? Boy do I have the answer for you! My absolute favorite place to create a cookbook is at Tastebook.com.
Its very user friendly and you can save your work at any time to continue later. The cookbook comes as a very nice binder. All TasteBooks hold up to 100 recipes. Pricing is as follows: $19.95 includes 25 recipes; $29.95 includes 50 recipes; $34.95 includes 100 recipes. The really nice thing about that is you can add pages at any time so if you can’t fill your cookbook with enough recipes but are ready to order your book, you’ll receive recipe credits so that you can order pages when you are ready for them.
Adding recipes is as easy as pie and organizing is a breeze with the 10 tabbed chapters. You’ll be able to add photos, servings, notes, and more! Using the notes section would be a great way to share a story that the recipe reminds you of. For example, my grandmother made the best homemade banana pudding ever and to this day, it’s my most requested dish to bring to family get-togethers. Sharing a small story or blurb alongside the recipe just makes it that much more enjoyable. And don’t forget to take advantage of the dedication page they give you. You may even want to dedicate it your grandmother.
What a great way to pass along your family favorites to your children or give as a gift to that foodie lover in your life. I’ve read a lot of cookbooks over the years but the ones I love the most are community and family cookbooks. Something else to think about is creating a community TasteBook and selling them through a fundraiser! I own at least 4 community cookbooks and all the proceeds either went to the local charity or for the students’ senior trip.
I find that this is the most affordable way to create a cookbook and I promise you’ll just love the way it turns out!
