Eating Unprocessed: A Challenge
This month we're taking on the challenge to eat without the help of processed foods. We're taking the pledge over on Eating Rules, and we hope you'll do the same.
For us this means one week of all unprocessed, and the rest of the month we're going to revert to how we generally eat anyway: avoiding packaged convenience items. However, we will be using things like: cooking oils, dried pasta, flour tortillas from the local Latin market and minimally processed foods that are void of chemicals and preservatives, but are purchased as ingredients and not ready-to-eat or ready-to-heat-and-eat products.
