Spring Flower Cupcakes
Spring is upon us! The weather here has been beautiful, which is rare for Northwest Indiana. We have flowers blooming and temperatures have been close to 80 degrees. So I couldn't help but let the weather inspire me to bake up a batch of Spring Flower Cupcakes. They are very easy and fun to make, even the kiddos can help with these.
Let's gather our supplies...
Frosting - colored to match your petal Marshmallows - regular size and minis
Green candy for centers - I used Mike & Ike
Sharp knife to cut the marshmallows
Bake and cool cupcakes
Flower Petals - cut marshmallow in half diagonally, dip cut edge in colored sugar
For each cupcake - use 5 large marshmallow petals and 6 mini
Gently push 3 green candies into the middle
Add the 6 mini petals, then the 5 large petals
