During the holidays I want to imagine what I‘d like to eat and drink. If I can plan ahead and eat what I like in moderation I’ll relax, let go a little and still be in control.
One goal is to eat lots of seasonal fruits and vegetables that will satisfy my hunger.
If I am able to have fun and avoid feeling deprived, then hats off to me.
Turning fruits and vegetables into wacky, artistic images is a great way to entice your kids to fill up on nutritious snacks that will provide fiber, minerals and vitamins they need.
And if they have fun and eat less junk food over the holidays, hat’s off to you.
