Decorating with Disney: Yes or No?

Do you decorate with Disney? There are parents who love Disney characters and those who would never buy home decorating items with cartoon characters on them, which one are you?

I have a confession to make.

I prefer not to buy all of the latest Disney character home decorating products for my kids, and I was never temped to decorate a baby nursery with vintage Winnie the Pooh products however cute they are.  But... I like shopping for home decorating products from the Disney Store and there is something about the mouse that makes me go nuts. And just like you can look for hidden Mickeys on your trip to DisneyWorld, you can do the same in my home.  I also own a Disney Holiday dinnerware set, the kids absolutely love it.

I'm already packing for my next trip to see Mickey, this time on a Disney Cruise, and while I'm planning on bringing home something Disney to remind me of the trip, I wanted to share a few products that I fancy from the Disney Store.

I don't know a kid who wouldn't love pancakes with mouse ears - another favorite, cookies with the mouse ears, they are just as popular! A Mickey Mouse cookie cutter is great for any mom to have up her sleeve, I mean.. in her cupboard.

Craving more Mickey? Subtle, yet bringing out a smile, are these modern kitchen items: colander, kitchen timer and even the tea pot. Just don't go over board and get all of them, but why not invite one "hidden Mickey" in your kitchen? My favorite is the colander.

This may come as a surprise to you, but all Disney Store items actually don't have Disney characters on them. If you have visited any of Disney luxury resorts you know that characters are not seen anywhere. Well, expect some hidden Mickeys.

Currently you can find two very stylish dinnerware sets from the Disney Store that are both equally stylish. Walt Disney Signature Collection's Kingswell Sleeping Beauty dinnerware is white with a tree branch design inspired by the background paintings in Walt Disney's classic films. The set is melamine, but makes me wish it was china.
