DIY Roundup - Easy Projects For You and Your Home
I'm pretty much a DIY obsessed gal - there's nothing I love more than sitting down with some grown up crafts and a sewing machine and making something lovely. It's my therapy. And I love that there are funky indie design blogs out there to fill my DIY tummy full to the brim with pretties that are usually not too difficult, and that can satisfy that craving for something unique and handmade.
Here is a roundup of some of my favorite DIY tutorials right now - just in time for some summer lovely!
1. Button flowers display piece (shown above) by Freckled Nest. I adore the look of this decorative piece, such a fun way to bring sweet flora into the house. Another really easy project that doesn't look it.

2. Adorable dress up felt board by Rachel at Smile and Wave. This is so pretty and sweet I want one for myself! I guess I'll let the kids play with it too.

3. Scrap busting pot holders from My Girl Thursday. I have so much scrap fabric that I will neeever throw away, and am always looking for lovely ways to use it all up. These pot holders would make anyone smile and are super easy to make.

4. Fabric necklace by Jenni, featured at A Beautiful Mess. I just love the funk of this piece, how easy it looks and how light it will be around my neck.
