Fashion For Home - Shoe Lover's Product Finds and More
Do you live for fashion and think the ultimate luxury is to dress in designer clothing and splurge on handbags and shoes? I have a few accessory finds for you - or, actually, for your home.
See, whatever you are passionate about, you can also incorporate in your home decorating. Bringing products into your home that remind you of the things you love every day is a smart way to stay happy, right? The same way that it is smart to invest your money in high-quality designer shoes that last for years, it is smart to splurge on things for your home that make you happy and relaxed, and help you feel rejuvenated. They say that you are what you eat and your eyes are the mirror to your soul, but what if it is your home that defines you and defines the way you are and how you see life? I have to be honest: Ever since we moved to a new home this summer, I have been more productive and successful in everything else in life.
So this one if for all your fashion lovers out there - bring your fashion love to your home. Here is some inspiration! Some of these finds may be a little out of the norm, but they're just to show you how you can incorporate your love for shoes and handbags into your home decorating in different ways.

My best friend is a shoe freak who writes about everything shoe-related in her blog, and she found these funky high heel shoe-shaped bathtubs from SICIS. Not just fashionable, but also fun.
Looks like your kids could have a nice indoor water slide, and, if nothing else, these shoe bathtubs look like a relaxation oasis! I have to say though, I cannot imagine my husband taking a bath in one of these.

The wooden wine stand with sculptured high heels may be a little too much for your dinner party - but if you are crafty, you can create a center piece for your table from a sale rack shoe and some rose petals.
For true outdoor luxury, and to show your shoe love daily during summer, there is a sun chaise lounge shaped like a shoe. The tumblers and the shoe pillow are finds from Etsy, and much more suitable for most homes.
And if you already know me... my best cheap decorating tip is go to IKEA, and second best? Wall decals. So of course I had to add some color to this post, and maybe inspire you to add some fashion pieces to your walls. My favorite is the silhouette of a woman in different outfits from Fern Living.

A handbag, on the other hand, is a great decorating piece in itself. Add a row of hooks on your wall and proudly display your handbags as a fashionable collage, or add a shelf just for handbags and let them play the leading role. The two-piece handbag & shoe dessert set is from Neiman Marcus, and is a fashion statement for any party.
