Laundry Room Makeover

According to Wisk, most of us spend 300 hours a year doing laundry - well, not me, because I have a well-trained husband.

But think of this - 300 hours a year in the laundry room or laundry closet or the corner of the basement where your washers & dryer are! That's a long time - so why not make your laundry room pretty and a place you might -gasp!- enjoy being?

Wisk has teamed up with TV’s Designing Spaces, Whirlpool and Emily Johnston, owner of the interior design firm EJ Interiors and founder of the home design site, Materials Girls Blog to host a professionally styled, total laundry room makeover contest!  The lucky winner will receive a brand new Whirlpool® High Efficiency washer/dryer set, a year’s supply of Wisk® HE laundry detergent, and a guest spot on a special episode of TV’s Designing Spaces scheduled to air this summer! All you have to do is submit a creative and compelling video telling which of Emily Johnston's laundry room looks, Type A All The Way, Constantly Connected, or Livin' Large Lounge is the most like your personality and why you think you deserve a laundry room makeover. 

We only have a laundry closet in our hallway - but if we had the space, I would love an actual laundry room, where I could also fold and iron clothes. Some inspiration in the pictures below..
