Slobproof - Kid Friendly Furniture

What if someone told you that you could decorate your home with beautiful upholstered furniture and never worry about fingerprints, spilled food or artistic creations drawn by little hands? I'd say it's about time!

Often when companies make "kid friendly" products, they look like they are meant for children's spaces. I don't know why some people tend to think that once you become a mom, you immediately feel like carrying around a diaper bag with cartoon characters on it, or decorate your home like it was an oversized dollhouse? Not Slobproof though. They just simply get it.

Interior designer Debbie Wiener is something out of the ordinary, and she was set to "slobproof" her house, after realizing that her sense of style and design, and her husband's, um, slobiness, did not go well together. She was determined to have a beautiful home that nobody could destroy, no husband, kid nor family pet.  It is said that Debbie Wiener combines the common sense of a Jewish mother with the muscle of a professional wrestler, and I love the story that Debbie found her niche in the design world when she married a self-proclaimed slob who challenged her to design a home that he couldn’t destroy. This lady is the real deal. She desires beautiful spaces, yet she understands the reality most of us face, especially moms, fin our every day lives.
