Aquarius Mom Horoscope: June 11 – June 17
Have visions of fame dancing through your head, Aquarius mom? Well, even if Hollywood isn't in your future, thanks to the entrance of expansive and lucky Jupiter into your fifth house of fame, passion, and creativity, you could become something of a local celebrity amongst your peeps. For someone who's as modest as you, stepping into the spotlight could be a little difficult; however, over the next thirteen months, until Jupiter moves on to Cancer on June 25, 2013, the spotlight is exactly where you're supposed to be.
Since Jupiter's only in this sector of your chart every twelve to thirteen years, make the next thirteen months count, Aquarius: rediscover the passions you thought were forever in your past (the performing arts, perhaps, or your love of art, music, and dance), and start making them priority number one. Why let your kids and your hubby have all the fun? And better yet, why not have fun WITH your kids and your hubby? Do more arts and crafts projects on nights and weekends, cook together as a family instead of going out, and maybe even dedicate one day a week for baking homemade treats. Forget processed snacks, mamas—why not make your own so that you can sneak in a healthy ingredient or two? If you or your kids are gluten-free/dairy-free/egg-free, check out the cookbooks by the creator of Babycakes NYC, Erin McKenna, especially Babycakes Covers the Classics. Snickerdoodles, anyone?
Many Aquarius moms we know are teachers, and this is the perfect activity for you from now until next June: if you're already a teacher, take some continuing education classes to expand your skillset, and if you're interested in entering that field, maybe it's time to go back to school or volunteer your expertise at a local summer camp or your children's nursery school. Don't let those skills go to waste! Baby fever could strike now, too, so if you and your hubby have been thinking about expanding your brood, why not make hay while the sun shines? Adoption is also a strong possibility in the upcoming months, so if you're currently locked in the bureaucratic process of adopting a little one from overseas, or even domestically, keep on keeping on. The same goes for you lovely mamas struggling to conceive...stay strong!
And lest we forget, your relationship is due for some major spice, so give your love life a boost with some fun parties, long-distance vacations while the kiddies are at camp, and a requirement for one date night a week. If you're a single mom, love could be just around the bend: as long as you're willing to stretch the boundaries of type or location, your soulmate is waiting to be discovered.
