Beat the Summer Heat With a Sundress

I don’t know what the weather’s like in your neck o’ the woods, but here in Tampa it’s HOT HOT HOT! And I just so happen to be well over nine months pregnant, so I’m feeling the heat big time! Luckily, my summer uniform of choice is about the coolest thing a gal can put on her bod.

Nothing beats a sundress when it comes to avoiding melting in the heat! I find dresses to be SO much cooler than shorts. Am I alone? My shorts aversion might also have something to do with the fact that I’ve pretty much abandoned all forms of exercise at this point, save for some walking and prenatal yoga.

Once this lady bean of mine is born and I’ve had a chance to properly work out the old stems again, I might be open to shorts, but right now, sundresses and maxis are where it’s at!

I rocked this little striped number on a recent date night with my darling hubs. I must say that I was quite comfy and cool in it…Well, as cool as someone with a baby bump as large and in charge as mine can be.

So, if you typically throw on shorts when it’s sweltering out, try a sundress on for size. The air flow alone makes them worth wearing. Just sayin’!

I’ve found some stylish and budget friendly sundresses for you today. Don’t let the heat keep you from having fun and looking fabulous, lovelies! Rock a sundress and get outside.
