Cancer Mom Horoscope: June 4 – June 10
Oh, helpful Cancer moms, you're always bending over backwards to help the people you love, especially your kids and your hubby! And with Monday's lunar eclipse in your sixth house of helpful people, health, and service, you may have an opportunity to lend your compassionate spirit to someone in your midst. Be on the lookout for likely candidates, and don't be surprised if your own needs get suddenly, and even miraculously, met. Some advice, moms: as a group, Cancers are generally slow to take advantage of new opportunities, wanting time to understand a prospective situation and to work through any kinks that may arise ahead of time; BUT - because chances offered up during eclipses often occur fast and furiously, it behooves you to be a little more spontaneous than usual. Trust that the universe has your back, and don't spend TOO much time worrying about all the details.
One great advantage of this activity in your sixth house is the opening it might provide in your personal health—use this eclipse as the perfect moment to start working with a new trainer, join the local YMCA, or pledge to become a more active and viable participant in a group weight-loss program, such as Weight Watchers. Also on Monday, planet of illusion Neptune turns retrograde (backward) in your ninth house of travel, study, and entrepreneurship, and for the next five months, there's no better time to explore new philosophies, new languages, and maybe even new environments.
Because of Neptune's retrograde movement, you may place the wrong person up on a pedestal, or put your all into a course of study that doesn't provide the benefits or enlightenment you had hoped. Do your best to stay on an even-keel now, Cancer, and trust the people and places you know...especially yourself. Get a second (and third!) opinion before you book that adventurous family summer vacation, and add a few more skills to your tool belt before you set off on that new entrepreneurial venture.
On Friday, mental Mercury moves into your sign, sending three weeks of communication mojo your way, mamas! Don't hide your light under the barrel now: if there's something on your mind—a great idea, an opinion, a piece of perfect advice—have the courage to express yourself completely and honestly. Introduce yourself to the familiar faces at the coffee shop or the playground, make an appointment at the hair stylist, and most importantly, ask for what you want. You may just end up getting it!
