Cancer Mom Horoscope: May 21 – May 27
Close up the shop, Cancer mamas, and bring it in. Thanks to the Gemini solar eclipse this past Sunday in your twelfth house, not to mention the Sun's move into Gemini for the next four weeks, it's time to embark on a process of completion. Being too overprotective of your little ones (or big ones, as the case may be), or falling into some martyr-mommy habits ("I've got it, seriously...ugh!")? Rebalance your life now, and admit that no, you don't have control over every little thing that happens to you, your family, or your professional life. Get out of your own head by committing—or recommitting—to some community service work in your town or city: join a local organization dedicated to cleaning up local parks and gardens, visit senior citizens' centers with your kids, or volunteer in your local hospital. You might feel low-energy this month, or even a bit depressed, and there's no better way to boost your vibe than to give back to those less fortunate. Make sure you're not taking on too much (at work AND and at home) or sacrificing too much in order to get the job done. While it's great that you're so dedicated to your family and your job, don't forget about your health and wellbeing, Cancer. If something is sucking the life force out of you, either eliminate it from your life, or better yet, negotiate the terms of this situation so that you can remain productive AND happy.
Find some time throughout the day to get out of the office (or your home) and engage in a meditative practice of some kind—wander the halls of your favorite museums and galleries, swim laps at your community or YMCA pool, or actually attend a meditation session. Your mind moves a mile a minute, Cancer, and you need these opportunities now to recharge and relax. Speaking of recharging your batteries, this is a great week to explore alternative healing methods, such as acupuncture, Reiki, and holistic medicine. If you or your children suffer from any persistent health concerns, such as night terrors, tummy aches, or fatigue, consider investigating forms of Eastern healing that can work in conjunction with traditional Western methods. You don't have to throw off one for the other, but an integration of the two could be just what you or your loved one needs to get on the path towards healing.
