Capricorn Mom Horoscope: June 11 – June 17
Still writing down those appointments and to-dos on scraps on the backs of envelopes or the margins of your morning newspaper, Capricorn mamas? If ever there were a time to invest in a fancy-schmancy planner or an online calendar that syncs with all of your electronic devices, this would be it!
Lucky and expansive Jupiter moves into Gemini on Monday, and from now until June 25, 2013, your sixth house gets a serious jolt of Jupiter's mega-powerful mojo. If you're a mom who works outside the home, your job could get busier than ever, or you may find yourself traveling extensively to meet with faraway colleagues or clients. Make sure there are structures in place at home so that your kids and your hubby can manage things in your absence (they definitely can, mama Capricorn), and create specific times for you to connect with your nearest and dearest while you're away (Skype, FaceTime, and Google Voice are all great options). You're a perfectionist at heart, Capricorn, and Jupiter's influence encourages you to drop those super high standards a notch or two—or at least to become more forgiving of yourself and the people around you for not meeting them. While you may not become as loosey-goosey as you've always wanted to be, the next almost-thirteen months will find your more optimistic, hopeful, and understanding of all the world's foibles than ever.
Take charge of your health now, too: if you've recently had a baby or have gotten away from your most healthful habits, flip the page and begin anew. Try yoga or pilates—anything low-impact is great for the upcoming months. Because Jupiter is in Gemini, the zodiac's partnership sign, this is the perfect time to team up with a good friend—and perhaps a fellow mom—to shed some pounds, tone your muscles, and add more healthful foods into your and your family's life. Whether it's investing in a Vitamix, a rice cooker, or an elliptical, find ways to easily integrate healthful practices into your busier than ever schedule. Look into new and different healing practices for you and your children as well: try acupuncture (not as scary as it sounds!) and even Reiki.
You may find yourself needing some additional support in the coming months, so don't be afraid to ask for—and receive—some necessary support. Delegating isn't usually something you're normally okay with, whether it's a babysitter (What's that?), a personal assistant (Huh?), or your husband (Him, cook dinner? Yeah, right!), but Jupiter encourages you to envision the possibility of allowing others to step up to the plate. While things might not be done entirely up to your standard of expertise, you'll get more joy and satisfaction out of life if you allow Jupiter to work its magic.
