I started this blog back in spring of 2008, shortly after my then-boyfriend popped the big question. When I was planning our budget wedding, there weren’t many of resources out there for brides with a limited budget. I decided to keep a journal of my budget savvy wedding planning here on this blog, but little did I know how useful my experiences, ideas and tips would be to so many other budget brides!

Since getting married in May 2009, I’ve continued sharing tips and tricks for how to save money on your big day with the help of our guest bride bloggers. We love to feature real budget weddings that show that it is possible to have a beautiful wedding no matter your budget! Our goal is to be a valuable resource for brides looking to have a fabulous wedding without breaking the bank!
