Eliminate Summertime Stress: Find a Swimsuit That Flatters

Okay, ladies. It's officially summer. Here in Florida, it feels like summer arrived forever and a day ago. Le sigh. And what’s something we all need to have at least one of in the summertime? A flattering swimsuit of course!

Either I will have had my lil’ lady bean by the time you read this or she is overdue. So, I’ll be dealing with my post baby body very soon, thus the prospect of swimsuit shopping doesn’t exactly have me jumping up and down with joy. Nevertheless, I have a three year old who’s eager to hit the pool and the beach this summer and it wouldn’t be very cool of me to tell him we can’t go because mama doesn’t want to go out in public in a swimsuit. Haha!

I know I can’t be the only gal out there who’s less than enthusiastic about swimsuit shopping, so I decided to go in search of a few sublimely flattering suits for different body types.

This type of shopping can be, in a word, traumatic. Most of us struggle with some form of a body issue and purchasing a piece of clothing that could put that issue on display is a daunting task. 1. Tummy Trouble: Since I'm about about to give birth any day now, my tummy is what I’ll be attempting to draw the focus away from this season. 3. Athletic Gals: Go ahead and rock that bikini girl! You work hard for your bod and there’s no reason you can’t showcase that hard work while also flaunting your feminine side. Ruffles help add the illusion of curves for even the straightest of figures.
