Gemini Mom Horoscope: May 21 – May 27
Hello, world! Think of this month as your launch-pad into the future, Gemini mamas—thanks to this past Sunday's Gemini solar eclipse and the Sun's movement into your sign for the next four weeks, you're feeling oh so large and in charge. All we can say is this: bring it. Since December of 2010, eclipses have been pushing you to become your best and brightest self, and this past eclipse is no different. Don't be surprised if you find yourself in situations where you're forced to choose between what's safe and what holds the possibility of expansion and growth. Think big! Take a chance on a new career, a new exercise class at your local community center, or maybe even a new community group or organization. Yes, there's something scary about being a newcomer (just ask your third-grader about the first day of summer camp)—but if you're never a first-timer, you'll never be a second-timer or a third-timer...you catch our drift, right?
Been thinking about revamping your look, Gemini? Ditch those sweatpants and pick up some of this season's jeans in super colorful hues, or hit the salon for a new haircut and some highlights. Ask your hubby to handle breakfast duty so you can spend an extra few minutes on your makeup—even if you take five minutes to add some mascara, a layer of lipstick, and some powder, you'll feel (and look) more glam than usual. Totally worth a sink full of cereal bowls and uneven pigtails for your daughter, no?
Mix up your exercise routines now, too: try some activities that are a bit more strenuous than your standard yoga class, such as indoor rock-climbing, long bike rides, and even an upbeat dance class. Your kids will love these activities as well, so find a way to invite them along—a family hiking trip, perhaps? Not only will you all thrive in the great outdoors, but you'll have a chance to bond as well. Bonus!
One final word about this week, Gemini: with the Sun in your sign, you're bound to feel more outspoken and vocal than usual...and that's a good thing! Wear your heart on your sleeve now, and speak out for the causes that you believe in. There will no better spokesperson than you, whether you're voicing your displeasure about a local zoning regulation or making your point known at an upcoming PTA meeting. As long as you speak your mind with respect and humility, who cares how many people agree with you? Be true to yourself, and you're sure to gain the support you need to make a difference.
