Grammys 2012 Hair and Makeup Looks

With the Grammy Awards, there’s usually an abundance of star style wackiness to keep folks talking for days – creative minds usually result in some outrageous red-carpet looks. But this year’s hair and beauty looks (save Lady Gaga’s face netting) were a bit more refined.  Subdued, almost. Now that’s not to say they were boring or disappointing – there was definitely no shortage of glamour.  Take a look for yourself:

Retro was one of the ruling themes – many of the diva goddesses showed up with vintage-style locks, lips and eyes (think winged eyeliner and false eyelashes galore). Adele in particular looked Old Hollywood glam with gorgeous retro waves and Marilyn Monroe inspired pout.  And Katy Perry shined in her signature pinup girl look as well.
