Leo Mom Horoscope: May 28 – June 3
Happy Memorial Day, Leo moms! With the moon in your second house this Monday, make sure today's plans (and the guest list) jive with your standards of excellence—just because you and your family are invited to a celebration, doesn't mean you have to attend. Talk things over with family first, and maybe even take a vote. Even if there's a chance you're letting some elitism get in the way of a great time, at least you'll have voiced your feelings, Leo! Don't have anything planned as of yet? See if there's a community art fair or a public concert happening, or maybe even wander the aisles of your family's favorite museum before supping on a picnic dinner in the park. There's more than one way to skin a cat; in other words, barbecues aren't the only way to celebrate a national holiday!
Monday's also a great day to talk finances with the important folks in your life, especially your hubby. Have you been neglecting the family budget as of late, or you've been reluctant to air some of your worries about summer camp tuition, your mortgage, and this year's vacation? Get into communication about these issues now—that way you and your significant other can work things out from a united front.
The rest of the week will be characterized by teamwork, Leo, thanks to the presence of the Sun, Mercury, and Venus (in retrograde motion) all visiting your eleventh house of group activity. Now's the time to combine your efforts with those of others to achieve that long sought-after goal...or maybe just to throw a great summer shindig (don't pretend like you don't love a good party, Leo). Put this collaborative energy to good use by spearheading a charity committee, attending networking events with your colleagues and industry movers and shakers, and just having coffee or lunch with your own girlfriends (remember them? ha!). Before you decide you're better off going it alone, check yourself—and your ego. Your community is there to support you, and no parent—or human, for that matter—can survive without the help, love, and guidance of the people in their midst. Don't worry about being the boss, for once. Hey, sometimes it feels to get in the back seat and let someone else drive, right?
