Libra Mom Horoscope: June 11 – June 17
Better start primping for that new passport picture, Libra! Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion, moves from Taurus, your eighth house of intimacy, into Gemini, your ninth house of travel and adventure, on Monday of this week. And from now until June 25, 2013, you'll be here, there, and everywhere...and enjoying it immensely! Forget the tried and true, and be bold now: whether you're connecting with colleagues and friends from afar, or taking a chance on a new business opportunity in another city or country, just know that the planets, and especially worldly Jupiter, have your back. Comfort zone, shmonfort zone! Schedule some upcoming family vacations to places where they speak a different language, or maybe even where their winter is our summer, and vice versa (Australia!), or maybe even consider packing up the fam and moving somewhere new, - perhaps just out of your hometown or your home state.
Been craving an advanced degree in a subject that you're interested in, or thinking about changing careers (or reentering the workforce)? Investigate the offerings at a local community college or university, and take the risk that the perfect opportunity will be waiting for you once you finish your studies. If nothing else, you'll have shown the world—and especially your kids—that it's never too late to fulfill on life's promises.
Have the past few years felt like the universe was holding you back a bit, stunting your growth and getting in the way of the future? You've got weighty Saturn to thank for that, which has been in your sign since October of 2009. While Saturn doesn't leave your sign until October 6 of this year, Jupiter's entrance will give you the hopefulness and optimism necessary to finish strong under Saturn's influence. Do your part by getting lots and lots of vigorous exercise and filling your bookshelves and audio devices with inspirational and motivating books to apply towards your own entrepreneurial or personal endeavors. Encourage your kids to start their own new projects as well over the upcoming months: a summer or fall internship could be in the offing for your older children, and your younger children would definitely benefit from a hobby or an activity that's all their own.
If the sign-up for school sports occurs before summer ends, make sure you don't miss that opportunity! Some new friends could be headed your way (and they may come from different backgrounds or cultures), and if you're a single mom, a new romance could also be on the horizon—especially prospects you meet while traveling! If you're already coupled, add some new touches to your romance, perhaps with the promise of a private vacation sans kids in the next year, or a class or workshop that you take together.
