In My Opinion
We Need a Female President Because Women Don't Think With Their "Third Eye"
I love the current president but we could really use a female president very soon please. As much as men attempt to belittle women as emotional and irrational beings the truth is, the male decision making process isn't always governed by fact-finding and rational thought either.
Their need to dominate or conquer and their inability to think clearly beyond their appendages has brought this country much ruination over the decades.
Our beloved President Bill Clinton took us to an amazing economic recovery and then made us the laughing stock of the world by getting BJ's in the oval office by an intern.
And if you think the George Bush vs. Saddam vendetta wasn't a huge you-know-what- slinging match, you are sadly mistaken. George W. was not going to be left with the short, er, straw.
JFK still has mistresses and sexual conquests coming out of the woodwork, clouding his great accomplishments.
Meanwhile, our forefathers built the biggest phallic symbol possible and called it the Washington Monument in what I think is the most honest testimony to what male-dominated politics is really about.
Male egos and dominance have been the root of many wars and bad decisions. One short guy even has a psychological complex named after him.
Meanwhile, leadership researchers have shown that a woman's management style, which centers around communication and positive working relationships is much better in this economy than a male-oriented approach. Years ago, a Business Week cover story declared that “Men could become losers in a global economy that that values mental power over might.” Studies prove women are better communicators, have better social skills, put the success of the team (or the country) first and use influencing skills rather than authority.
"I'm the commander -- see, I don't need to explain -- I do not need to explain why I say things. That's the interesting thing about being president." –George W. Bush as quoted in Bob Woodward's Bush at War. Sound familiar?
Real women don't need to have sex with a lot of men to feel good about themselves--that's what college is for. We are known to be more oriented to enhance others’ self-worth.
More importantly, when we do have inappropriate relations with underlings we know how to be discreet about it. (Admittedly, some teachers need to retake that seminar). In general, we are not sloppy--too smart for that.
We run families. We run communities. We run cities and states. We run major corporations.
And when we care about something, we care deeply and passionately and commit to doing our best.
And let's face it, given the recent attack on women, reproductive rights, children and the poor, I don't think the power of the penis is going to cut it.
