Q: If I were a dance style, people would definitely call me…
A: “the Modern Dancer.”
Q: What three adjectives best describe your personality?
A: Opinionated, loud and protective.
Q: Stress-- how do you handle it?
A: I engage in some major shopping therapy! I hit the mall and do major damage.
Q: What is your favorite way to unwind and spend some “me time”?
A: I love to read, I also love to play Texas Holdem!
Q: Do you cook? What is your favorite recipe?
A: I love to cook, my favorite recipe is 5 cheese chicken and corn fritters. It’s not the least bit healthy but everyone loves it.
Q: What is the best piece of advice you ever received from your parents?
A: My Mother was very quiet; I always thought she wasn’t paying attention but I realized that she just never judged anyone, she accepted people for who they were.
Q: What is your biggest regret?
A: I don’t have regrets, I believe everything I have experienced in life, the good and the bad, has brought me to the place I am at.
Q: What is your biggest pet peeve about other moms in the competitive dance world? A: My biggest pet peeve is the amount of stress some Moms put on their children.
Q: What lessons do you hope to teach your children as they grow up?
A: I am trying to raise strong independent children, who believe in themselves and realize the most important part of life is to make themselves happy and follow their own dreams not the dreams other people think they should have.
Q: What would you prefer for your children after they graduate high school: Broadway or College?
A: Whatever makes them happy!
Q: What were you like in high school?
A: I was artistic; I wanted to be the next Meryl Streep or a politician.
Q: What makes you feel sexy?
A: When I am complimented and told I look good.
Q: What’s your idea of the perfect ladies’ night out?
A: Hanging out with friends having a drink and gossiping!
Q: What is your idea of the perfect “romantic night out”?
A: I love a nice dinner in a restaurant by the ocean followed by a walk on the beach.
Q: What advice do you have for moms out there who think their child has what it takes to be a dance star?
A: Find out what makes your child’s dreams are in dance and then go out and do everything it takes to make their dreams happen! Don’t listen to other people’s opinions and don’t let other people’s comments hold you back or detract you from your path. Make your child your top priority and be their biggest fan!!!
