CLINGY BABY – It is crucial for your baby’s development that you do not give in
to their demands to constantly be picked up. Once their basic needs are met,
tell them they are OK and continue what you are doing. By not picking them up
you are firmly but lovingly encouraging their independence.
PARENT RULES – It’s not just children that need rules, often it’s the parents too! By agreeing on Parent Rules everyone becomes responsible and accountable and it is aconstant reminder of what you aspire to be as a parent.
SENSITIVITY TRAINING – A two-way communication technique which is designed to help facilitate a dialogue in an open and honest way without fear of ridicule and judgment.
REFLECTION BOOK - Is used for children ages 8 and up to self-evaluate their behavior by writing down what they did that day that they liked and what they did that day that they would like to do better with.
LOVE POSTS - Another way to Speak Life into your child. By writing sentiments of love and leaving it where your child can read it will allow them to realize how highly you regard them and will help build up their self-esteem to no end.
BUSY BINS (playroom clean up) – This is a simple Involvement technique to get the kids involved in cleaning up. The more children are involved, the more they begin to take ownership of what they are doing and value the outcome as a sense of accomplishment.
