Catch Up With Your Favorite "Army Wives" Cast Members! This Week: Kellie Martin (Nicole Galassini)

Ever wonder what your favorite cast members wanted to be when they grew up, or how close they are with the rest of the cast?  Well, we've got just what you're looking for!

The crew at Ft. Marshall opens up to Lifetime Moms, check out what new cast member, Kellie Martin (Nicole Galassini) has to say about her guilty pleasures, and more!

What did you want to be when you “grew up”?  Did you always want to be an actor/actress?

Kellie Martin (KM):  I wanted to be Nancy Drew who becomes an undercover homicide detective.

Is there a piece of advice that your mom or dad gave you as a child/teen that still rings true today?

KM: Home is the most important place in your life.

What are some of your guilty pleasures?

KM: Peanut butter on dark chocolate, lots of wine, and homemade bread.

What’s your “get out of the house in hurry” makeup routine?

KM: Mascara, lip gloss and a braid.

Do you ever have to deal with negative feedback from “fans”?  Maybe some Army Wives who don’t appreciate your portrayal (or other characters) on the show?

KM: I have a feeling my storyline will be in for a bit of that.  I'm ready for it.

Would you/did you ever consider a life in the military?  How would you do as a true “Army Spouse”?

KM: I wish I could say that I would consider it but I'm not nearly brave enough. I have such admiration and respect for those who put our country first.

With such a busy schedule, how do make time for yourself?

KM: My kid goes to bed at 6:30 every night.  Then the rest of the time is mine.  I can work out, read, hang with the husband.

Do you support/participate in any non-profits or charities in any way?

KM: I am the spokesperson for AARDA (autoimmune association) and have been for about 11 years.  It's a very important part of my life.

How hard is it saying goodbye to someone you’ve worked with for so long?

KM: Heartbreaking. A set is a family.

Do you get close with the other cast members?  Do you see each other once filming is over?

KM: Sally and I see each other at the gym : )

If you found out the spouse/partner of a friend was having an affair, would you tell your friend?

KM: Totally depends on the situation.

How much does technology play a role in your life?  Are you addicted to twitter, Facebook?  Do you read any blogs regularly?

KM: I'm unfortunately very plugged in.  I do love twitter and have recently stumbled upon pinterest, which is pretty great.

Have you ever started your own business?  If not, would you like to?  What would it be?ws/americas-mo

KM: Yep. I own a kids' toy and decor webstore called ROMP (rompstore.com).  I'm pretty inspired by my own kid and love to share the safe and beautiful toys she loves with the rest of the parents out there.
