The Pyramid Game: Week 5 Recap

We usually start our week at the Abby Lee studio with the “pyramid.” It is always a nerve-racking experience, I never know what to expect from Abby. This week of course was no different, oh yeah except that Abby took Kendall OFF probation!! Woo-hoo! I was totally taken by surprise, and Kendall was too. I'm feeling so happy for my little girl who has worked so hard for Abby – but up until now, has not heard a single positive kind word from her. Abby did the right thing in putting Kendall on this team, and I know Kendall will not let her down. I do think Abby was pleased with the dance trio and Kendall's performance in the group number, so she felt she had no reason not to take her off.

Moving on to the rest of the pyramid ... I was very surprised to see Brooke in the top spot. I was under the impression that it is each kid’s performance as well as the mother’s ... umm ... behavior that dictates where the kids are placed on the pyramid. Don't get me wrong – I'm totally happy that Brooke is back. I just don't think she should have been at the very top.

Moving on to the question I know you all want to know: "Why did I get massages for Abby and Gianna?" Let me just say that there are two sides to every story. I believe the other moms knew what was going on – it's called sabotage. Christi went ballistic on me! Since when is it a crime to give someone a gift? There are two types of people in this world – there are givers and there are takers. Just saying! I do expect good things for Kendall whether I buy Abby a massage or not. I am paying Abby to teach my daughter to dance. And just in case you were wondering, no, I am not trying to buy a top spot on the pyramid for Kendall. If Kendall ever gets to the top of the pyramid, it will be because she earned it.

I think Abby is not used to a Dance Mom like me. The other moms scream and berate her all the time to get their point across. I don't need to scream and yell; however, I do need to be heard, and I wanted Abby to know that I want more for Kendall. I think Abby just doesn't want to hear it from me, so she put me on "probation." Bummer for me – I'm trying my best to get along with everyone, I'm trying my best to get the best for my daughter. I do feel that the dance moms don't "get me," and furthermore, I am getting very tired of Abby beating my daughter and me down every chance she gets. Trying to hang on by a thread ... wish us luck!
