I know Sammy’s solo didn’t place but Angel and Victor were very pleased with how she danced, so it was great to see her second on the list. When they announced the theme of discipline and said the kids were lacking it, it was kind of funny to me because these kids live, eat and breathe dance. It takes so much discipline just to be able to handle their school and training schedules.

 

When  I heard about the duet I couldn’t believe it. Not because of Hannah but because of her mother. If someone couldn’t stand your daughter and said the things she has, why would I want anything to do with her? I have never said anything to put Hannah down, she has improved so much in the last two years, I’m so proud of her.  But the accomplishments are the facts and Debi just keeps on saying nasty things about Sammy. My husband thought this was crazy and actually not nice of Victor and Angel to put them together, but I told him the kids don’t have the problems, the moms do… or Debi does.

 

To me the trust exercise was wasted time that they could have used to work on the duet. It wasn’t as if they did that trust fall in their dance routine. My concern about the duet was just the fact that the girls are not on the same level, and don’t dance alike. Debi keeps on saying Sammy has no artistry but who told her that? It’s funny, Sammy has won in lyrical, musical theater, jazz and pointe, so she must have some artistry.

 

Brigette had family in Detroit so I knew she wanted Lucas to do his solo, I told her she could have the duet but that wasn’t good enough. I just love how she calls Debi out!!! But I don’t blame Debi for feeling the way she does. In the end, the duet did well, but did not place or win, so I don’t know why Victor and Angel were happy , it was just amazing they did as well as they did. My husband is still questioning the commute to stars and everything we have to go through, but he sees how happy Sammy is for now, so he is happy with that, he just says time will tell!!
