Miranda of “Pretty Wicked Moms” Reveals Her Secret Talent and Hair Tips!
It wouldn’t be a mommy clique without “frenemies”! Miranda and Emily run in the same circle but they don’t exactly see eye to eye when it comes to…well, most things! Miranda is the group’s “Southern belle” and she believes that when the going gets tough, you should “keep your heels, head and standards high at all times”! Here, she shares her thoughts about mom bullies, her son Ledger’s extensive wardrobe, and bad-hair days.
“Pretty Wicked Moms” premieres on Lifetime on Tuesday, June 4 at 10.9c!
Q: What is the best way to get on your good side? Bad side?
A: Buy me a pair of shoes to get on my good side. Insult my family to get on my bad side.
Q: What's the best way to deal with mom bullies?
A: Be kind to unkind people, because they need it the most! If people are trying to bring you down, it just means you are above them. Kill them with kindness.
Q: What was your favorite thing about being pregnant? Least favorite thing?
A: I loved being pregnant. It was such a bonding experience to be able to feel Ledger move inside my belly. I would sing to him and talk to him all day before he was even born! I’m sure he was so annoyed with me – “geez, lady, let me sleep already!” My least favorite thing was the nausea – it lasted ALL day! The absolute worst thing is the swelling of the hoo-ha. One day I woke up and I had Angelina Jolie’s lips!
Q: Name three things you can never walk out of the house without.
A: I never leave the house without my purse, Ledger’s diaper bag and an ice pack for surprise dog bites or toddler right hooks!
Q: How do you handle a bad hair day?
A: The solution to a bad hair day is to wear a low-cut blouse!
Q: Do you ever use your kid as an excuse to get out of plans?
A: Yes! “Ledger suddenly doesn’t feel well. Sorry we aren’t going to be able to make it!”
Q: Name one thing people would be surprised to find out about you!
A: I can pinch with my toes; I’m like an orangutan.
Q: Who has more clothes – Ledger or your husband?
A: Ledger has more clothes than anyone in our household; it’s just so much fun shopping for him!
Q: How did you decide to name your son Ledger?
A: I wanted something unique and something that when people hear it they are like, "That’s a cool name! Good job, mamma!"
