Q: How many children do you have?
A: 3 children (Mason, Kendall and Matthew)
Q: What is the craziest thing you learned being a mom?
A: I learned that it is amazing how little sleep you can survive on.
Q: What would you say is the one thing (about you) that your family could not live without?
A: Doug could not find anything in the house if I were not there. He is clueless when it comes to where things are located in the house. He swears that I move things around!
Q: What’s your idea of the perfect Girls Night Out?
A: Going out for a nice meal and then watching a movie at the theater.
Q: You and your husband… Was it love at first site?
A: I think we were too young for love at first sight. We started out as friends in 9th grade and then our relationship progressed further the summer before our junior year of high school and we have been together ever since. We started out as best friends and have remained that way 20 years later.
Q: What is the thing you and your husband argue about most?
A: We probably argue the most about Doug not putting his dirty clothes or dirty dishes where they go. His mom did everything for him and he assumes that I will do the same for him.
Q: What’s the sweetest quality about your husband?
A: He is the most caring and loving father in the world!
Q: What do you love most about living in a small town?
A: I love the safe feeling that our town offers and the fact that everyone is so close and truly cares about what is going on in our lives.
Q: What do you dislike most about living in a small town?
A: Everyone knows your business in a small town and they love to form their own opinions whether they are accurate or not.
Q: If you could have dinner with three famous people (dead or alive) who would you invite?
A: My Dad’s mother (Mary Terry) because I never had the opportunity to meet her, Mother Theresa, and Angelina Jolie. The latter because she obviously loves having a family as much as I do!
Q: What is your biggest vice?
A: My biggest vice is Cherry Coke Zero in a can. It is disgusting how addicted I am to these things!
Q: What’s your biggest pet peeve?
A: My biggest pet peeve is people that are obsessed with material things and their appearance. You can be successful and care about your appearance without going overboard.
Q: What makes you feel sexy?
A: Getting dressed up (hair, make-up, nice outfit) and having my husband tell me that I look nice.
Q: What’s your most memorable ballsy moment?
A: I think the moment that Doug and I decided that we would fully commit ourselves to our birth mother and the whole adoption process even though it was a huge risk. Obviously it paid off and we couldn’t be happier with our family!
Q: If your life was a Lifetime Movie it would be called…
A: “Zero to Three Kids in 2.5 Seconds” Wow!!!!
