This week was definitely an emotional roller coaster.  Once again the moms were upset that sammy was given another solo, as if I’m the one that picks who does what. I can’t understand why they are mad at me and not Angel and Victor. Brigette and Susan were fed many lies by Debi about Sammy and me from our other studio. Debi is the one who has the issues not me!! But then they both came and apologized to me that they listened to Debi and didn’t give me a chance. I thought this was big of them. This led us to get out of the viewing room and go for some drinks!

 

While we were there they told me all the nasty things Debi had said about Sammy, calling her a has been (nice thing to say about a 12 year old) and told the moms that they should look up all of Sammy’s winnings from last year and print them out. I say -- go ahead, she accomplished so much!!! The final straw was when I heard that she went to Victor and asked him to not make Sammy’s solo too good. I didn’t know what to believe, other than this is all so crazy!  But if Debi didn’t say these things why would they come up with this???

 

While we were at the competiton, I wanted to know the truth once and for all. I never questioned that Victor would ever do something like that, but if Debi really asked him (whether she was trying to be funny or not) to me it’s sad. Sammy is now on the same team as Hannah, and she has really improved and matured so much, both girls get along , so what’s the problem?

 

Sammy’s solo was amazing this week, actually Victor and Angel thought she did better than the week before. It was Starbound again, same judges, but  I guess they didn’t like her this week, so that’s the way it goes. It’s their opinion and that’s what competition is all about! I am so proud of Sammy and how hard she works and how dedicated she is to dance. So whether she places first or last isn’t important to me but that she is having fun and keeps on improving!
