"Silence Is Louder Than Words" (My Episode 2, Season 3 Recap)

The dance mom silent protest may be viewed as immature and childish, but it had a purpose. Our goal was to show our loyalty to Kelly and her kids and to get Brooke and Paige back on the team. We all felt the team was not complete without them, and we certainly didn't need any more kids auditioning for their spots! I knew Abby wouldn't agree with our tactics but it was the only way to fully get her attention and convey how serious we were. And then she replaced us!!

I stopped in to see Cathy because I was in the area. I had heard she lost all of her competition team members and I wanted to see if she would be honest with me and confide that Justice and her other kids had quit. I don't know what Cathy is up to, but I do know it was a mistake for me to stop in. She always greets people with an insult, and today was no exception.

The mall performance was lots of fun for the girls. They didn't feel any pressure and totally enjoyed the crowd. The fans were all so enthusiastic and welcoming. The fact that they choreographed their own number for hundreds of people was kind of cute. I'm sure Abby will have something negative to say about it though. I think it is obvious that the kids need Abby's direction. I know Kendall needs it. I hope the stand-off can end in a respectable manner.
