Sister Wives? Oh My, Now That's a Good Prank!
What would you do if your child played a prank on you? My 7 year old son loves to play jokes, but he is just starting to grasp the concept (leaving gummy worms in the apple drawer, etc). By the time he is a teen or young adult, I bet he could come up with some doozie’s – like the daughters on the new Lifetime show, Prank My Mom.
In the first episode, three moms are introduced to their daughter’s new “boyfriend”, who just happens to be a polygamist looking for his fourth wife. Each mom is unsuspectingly faced with an older religious man, who is just a bit too anxious to marry her daughter. If that isn’t enough, the sister-wives arrive on the scene to bring a vivid picture of life with this man. As you can imagine, all hell breaks loose.
So, what would I do if my daughter did this to me? Well, I can tell you what I wouldn’t do – I wouldn’t be able to calmly sit and listen to that guy. I would be agitated, fuming, and probably a bit furious. And I’m sure I’d get a few good arguments back at him – but you know I would also be the first to fall over laughing when I found out I had been pranked!
I love a good joke (which is probably why I loved April Fools Day as a kid!) and if you do, too, you don’t want to miss the premiere of Prank My Mom on October 9, 2012 at 10.9c.
Have you had a good prank pulled on you? How would you react to one as wacky as this?
