The Fight Club and Top of the Pyramid (My Episode 7, Season 3 Recap)

All is good in love and war!! Kendall Vertes was finally at the top of the pyramid. It has been a long rough road in getting there but she made it to the top! Hallelujah!

I was a little concerned at how Abby was going to treat me and of course Kendall after the blowout with Cathy, but Abby was complimentary of my actions - which, by the way I am not proud of. I don't regret throwing water on Cathy...she deserved it. She makes rude comments about our children. It’s no wonder all of her competitive students left her! I was shocked Christi and Chloe didn't show up for pyramid. I totally understand, but I still thought she would show up. I guess she is taking this suspension thing seriously.

I was so happy Kendall had a solo but so sad that Cathy and her boy entourage were scheduled to compete. It just makes a stressful day more stressful when things like that happen. Jackie and Sophia came to rehearsal, and it was no surprise that Sophia was the center of the number. I truly believe Jackie did the right thing not showing up for the competition. She has an amazing dancer who does not need Abby or ALDC to further her career. I do believe our team has seen the last of Sophia.

Every time Cathy shows up at competition, Abby goes insane. She pulled Nia and Paige's duet and threatened to pull Kendall's solo too! I think I would have blown a gasket (yep, again) if she pulled her solo. I loved everything about it - loved the mask, loved the choreography and loved the red costume. Kendall performed beautifully, however they had put her in the 8 and under division when she should have been in the 9-11 division so she couldn't qualify to be in the overalls. I know she was disappointed and I was very sad for her. Then to top it all off our group lost to "the boys". I thought our number was really good! It's just that what those hip hop boys did was more of a crowd pleaser! At the end of the day, Cathy came in gloating, whacked Abby with her cheap plastic purse, continued to berate me and Kendall so I had no choice but to SNAP! Get lost -----!
