The Week the Women Went
Watching Myself on Lifetime's "The Week the Women Went"

Tuesday's premiere episode of "The Week The Women Went" was amazing! It was everything that I hoped it would be and more. I was so worried about how my husband Doug was going to handle everything with the twins but it appeared that he had everything under control. He did seem a little bit stressed and I am sure that he didn't realize how hard it was to take care of two toddlers by yourself until he actually had to do it. I think it was so cute that he enlisted the help of his best friend, Darnell. I am not too sure how quiet their house will be but Doug has always believed in safety in numbers.
Watching the show, I realized how truly blessed my family is to have such beautiful and sweet children. Mason and Kendall are incredible and have enriched our lives in so many ways. It was such a rush to see my husband in action on television taking care of our family! I cannot wait to see how he and Darnell handle the rest of the week as a team. I know they will have ups and downs and I am anxious to see how Doug and the children handle my being separated from them for seven days.
I loved seeing the other husbands and fathers in action as well. I had to laugh at Stephen when he said that he didn't think he would get much sleep because he was afraid he would not hear Judd if he cried during the night. Moms never worry about that because it just comes naturally to us to hear our children when they need us even if we are in a dead sleep. I love how serious he took his responsibilities. I also can't wait to see how Bug and Skylar handle their mothers' businesses while they were away. I am sure there will be some adventures. I also would have loved to have seen Matt's reaction when he realized that the kids used his toothbrush on the family dog! I would have been mortified but it was quite comical.
I am counting down the days until next week's episode and I hope that everyone else will tune in as well. Will Doug and Darnell be able to handle the daily stressors of raising four kids together? Will Bailey have anymore meltdowns and what exactly does Hunter have planned with the butcher knife? Stay tuned next week to find out!
