Who's the Boss? I Am! (Sort Of)

One of the perks of working for Lifetime Moms is that I sometimes get to see new A&E and Lifetime programs before they air.  There's a really fun one premiering on A&E this Sunday, December 2 at 10/9c called "Be the Boss". This show is so cool. It pits two high performing, lower level employees against each other for a big promotion.  The ultimate prize though, which the employees don't even know about, is their very own franchise.  It's (BOOMING ANNOUNCER-Y VOICE) the largest prize in all of television...television...television...

So there's a winner, and then a HUUUGE winner. 

Wouldn't it be great if life were always like that?  If you were working hard for something big, and the only possible outcome was that you'd get what you really wanted, or get something even better?  

You've been scraping and saving to buy a house?  Here you go, here's a house that's twice the size of the one you wanted with an in-ground pool and a home theater.  

You've been trying to sell your Great American Novel?  Here's a three book commitment AND a movie deal.

You've been trying to have a baby for years?  Here you go, have two.  

Wait, that actually did happen to me.  

"Be the Boss" is the perfect blend of competition show and feel-good show. It's interesting, it's emotional, and you get to see hard work pay off. 

Note to the producers:  I worked really hard today.  The baby gave me a fat lip, the dogs ate the ornaments off the Christmas tree and my daughter refused to go to any more piano lessons.  I'm very available, seeing as how I don't seem to be the boss of anyone.  So if you want to show up at my house and give me the keys to a franchise - any franchise - I'm your woman. Yessiree.  Any franchise. Any one at all...
