The Most Incredible Marriage Proposal Ever Goes Viral
If you're hoping to get engaged sometime in the near future, I've got bad news for you.
Your proposal is not going to seem that exciting. Not because your soon-to-be fiance' isn't going to mean it with all of his heart and promise to love you forever and ever - because in that respect it will be all that you ever hoped for. No, it's just not going to be that exciting because, well, some dude named Isaac Lamb already took the best marriage proposal ever. EVER.
Isaac invited his girlfriend, Amy Frankel, over to his parents' house for dinner last Wednesday, and when she arrived she was intercepted by Isaac's brother who asked her to sit in the back of his SUV in his parent's driveway to listen to a song. I assume that Isaac's brother really likes music so this wouldn't be an unusual request for Amy - because she did it with no problem.
And then two of Amy's friends popped out onto the driveway and started dancing. And, according to The Oregonian, Amy thought "How sweet, they're going to do a show for me."
Then the car slowly started moving down the street, with Amy still sitting in the back. And then out popped more people that she knew and loved. All of them dancing to what was (in my completely unprofessional opinion) a very, very well choreographed routine. The dancers radically ranged in age - from kids to folks with greying hair - everyone was dancing and smiling.
And they were singing. They were singing Bruno Mars "Marry You" as a matter of fact.
I held my composure quite nicely until the moment where a few people holding laptop computers showed up to dance in front of Amy, and I could see that on the screens were more people, joining in via Skype, dancing to the lyrics.
Then I bawled.
I don't know how he pulled it off, but in all fairness Isaac is an actor - as a matter of fact so is Amy. And judging by the quality of some of those dance moves - most of their friends have spent some time in the theater as well.
Have you seen the video? If not I've included it here for you - you have to watch it. I dare you not to cry.
My fiance' proposed in a place that was meaningful to both of us, overlooking the ocean in a very private setting. It was just what I imagined. What was your proposal like? Did you feel it was fitting for your personality? Share your story in the comments!
