Capricorn Mom Horoscope: March 19 – March 25
Did someone page a domestic goddess? The sun moves into your fourth house of home and family on Tuesday, Capricorn, and it's time to make your humble abode a little less than humble. Whip out those interior design books, click through design blogs and sites like pinterest.com and instagram.com, and page through your old shelter magazines for inspiring images of homes you love, and then work to put your own spin on your favorite projects. Just don't forget to involve the fam, Cappy! As a family, put together a list of design objectives that you'd like to accomplish, and then dole out tasks: even your toddler can add his or her touch, even if it's just "That's pretty, mommy!" or "I want THAT!" At least someone's not afraid to express his or her opinion, right? Make sure you're not lost in your own home—do you have a "room of your own" to work, read, or even do crafts in? Even if it's just a desk in the corner of your bedroom or a little room off the kitchen, give yourself some space to create.
You’re a worker bee, Capricorn, and even if you’ve got CEO after your name, it's time to prioritize time with your nearest and dearest. Instead of heading back into work-mode once dinner is done and the kids are in the their pjs, take out the board games or a deck of cards and have a family game night; or, invite relatives from near and from far to rendez vous at chez Capricorn, possibly for the upcoming Easter or Passover holidays or maybe "just because." Travel may not be possible for those who are too far away, so take advantage of applications such as Skype and FaceTime to connect with Aunt Susie or Grandpa Keith—not only will your kids love showing off their tech skills, but they'll be thrilled to see their loved ones up close and personal.
The universe gives you a double-dose of family spirit on Friday, thanks to a new moon in the very same sector as the sun; however, because of the moon’s connection to impulsive Uranus and Mercury retrograde, you could make an unnecessarily bold move with inopportune consequences. Save the lease signing or home closing until after Mercury returns to direct motion on April 4, and ignore those phone calls from your sister or BFF, especially if you've got some harsh criticism up your sleeve. Need to blow off some steam? Head to an evening yoga class, watch a rom-com on the couch with your hubby after the kids wear themselves out, or do a few nighttime laps at the YMCA pool. And don't forget to breathe!
