Capricorn Mom Horoscope: March 26 – April 1
Abandon yourself to your inner artiste at the beginning of this week, Capricorn—with three planets powerfully linked in your fifth house of romance, passion, and creativity, it's time to give that conservative nature of yours a rest. What sets your heart aflame? This week, make your passion a priority, whether it's a hobby, a new job, or even a relationship. And while it may not fit in that ten or twenty-year plan you've created for yourself and your family, this might be the universe telling you it’s time for a new plan.
Give yourself the freedom to expand your mind, heart, and your soul in the first half of the week: book theatre tickets for you and your hubby, play hooky from work and spend the day writing or painting, or submit that pitch to your favorite magazine, blog, or (why not?) publishing house. And just as you want to privilege the parts of your life that you ARE passionate about, distance yourself from what doesn't give you the electricity you crave. Single Caps, if the guy you're currently dating isn't dad-material, it could be time to say, "ta-ta," and give your real crush a shot. A great night for a romantic night: Monday. Hire a babysitter, drop the kids off at Grandmas, or whip up a private dinner for two after the kids have already starting dreaming sweet dreams.
Towards the middle of the week, thanks to the Sun's challenging square with Pluto in your sign, you could take that "Mother Hen" role a little too far, Capricorn. Try not to be too overbearing with your kids (they know you love them, trust us) or hover over your hubby. There's no one better than you for getting the job done—no matter what the job is—but sometimes, you just have to let go. And finally, did you forget that Mercury was still in retrograde (backward) motion until April 4? As if, right?
From now until that point, Mercury's traveling through your third house of communication, making this a great time to reconnect with old friends and restart some stalled projects. If you've recently moved to a new community or have felt a bit disconnected from your neighbors as of late, get back into the mix in a new way: maybe it's finally time to join the swim club for the summer or tune up those bikes for a family ride around the 'hood.
