Leo Mom Horoscope: April 9 – April 15
Mix it up, Leo mamas! We totally get that there are things you always have to do...but aren't you starting to feel like a robot? With powerful Pluto's retrograde (backward) turn in your sixth house of organization and self-care, the next five months are all about mining for that gold in whatever’s mundane or everyday. While you don't necessarily need to change things too much (after all, school starts at the same time every day, and you need your job too much to throw out THAT baby with the bathwater), redefine your relationship to your daily life. Create an online calendar where you can manage all your family's schedules at home, at work, and on the go, schedule a session with a career coach to step into your professional power, and maybe even hire a new babysitter so you can escape for a few hours in the evening or on the weekend.
Have you been leaving meal preparation to your husband or significant other, and thus subsisting on bachelor-type meals of pasta, tuna noodle casserole, and various other sundries? Take charge of the meal planning and grocery shopping in your household (even if your role remains advisory in nature), and make sure you, your kids, and your hubby are getting the nutrients you need to take on the day. Challenge yourself to learn some new cooking skills, and maybe even pick up a new cookbook or enroll in a cooking class to add more tools to that tool belt. How's your health now, Leo? If it's time for that annual check-up for you and the kids, load up the car and start making your rounds (dentist, pediatrician, Ob/Gyn, etc.). Put aside your fears of hearing the worst (or having to do the work to get up to optimal health), and just go. Pluto retrogrades help us see what we've been avoiding, and for you, that might just be your well-being.
Another planet making moves this week is red-planet Mars. Since January 23, this go-getter planet has been retrograde in your second house of work and money, perhaps creating some stress around your bank balance or causing you to feel "stuck" on the corporate ladder. From now until July 3, have the promotion talk with your boss, delve into budget maneuverings with your hubby, or encourage your high school-age child to start looking for that all-important summer job. You may have the urge to splurge now, Leo moms, so watch that wallet—maybe even unsubscribe from those sample sale sites offering discounted clothes and toys for your little one. Unless you're sure that you've got the green to back up those spontaneous purchases, don’t fork over that credit card number! And if you've been TOO stringent with your budget these days, find a few smalls ways to treat yourself in the next few months.
