Libra Mom Horoscope: April 2 – April 8
It's a red-letter week for you, Libra moms, thanks to the movement of Mercury, Venus, and the moon. First things first: your ruling planet Venus, planet of love, beauty, and harmony, moves in your ninth house of travel, adventure, and expansion on Tuesday, setting up shop there until August 7. This is an extra-long visitation from Venus (which usually only visits a sign for four to six weeks), and bodes particularly well for your love life. Are you a single mom looking for a new mate? Instead of looking in all the same places (online, perhaps, or introductions from friends), spend more of your free time in pursuit of your passions: sign up for a foreign language class that meets at the same time as your kid's soccer practice, hire a babysitter so you can get your salsa-dancing groove on, or join a runners' club with other parents so that you can switch off on child-care duties with the other members. Not only will you be happier with a new outlet for your passion and creativity, but you'll surround yourself with others passionate about the things you're passionate about! True love waits.
Happily partnered moms will also benefit from stretching your mental and physical limbs, too, especially if you've been feeling a bit distant from your hubby...or haven't had anything to talk about besides the kids, your finances, and who's walking the dog. Do some research into your next family vacation or a community service project that you could all contribute to—involve the kids in choosing a place or a cause, and dedicate a giant milk jug for holding the family's savings...before you know it, you'll be hiking your way through a national park or pruning your family plot in the community garden.
Also occurring this week: Mercury finally turns direct (forward) after a three-week retrograde (backward) phase! Communication, travel, and scheduling may have been super-chaotic as of late, and you or your children might have suffered from those annoying spring colds that strike just as the weather begins to warm. Have you gone a little bit overboard trying to be the perfect mom, wife, and worker? Cut yourself some slack, now, and admit to yourself that you're not Superwoman—and you're doing your absolute darndest (and it's pretty darn good). Finally, on Friday, there’s a full moon in your sign, Libra; whatever, you touch, it seems, gleams with promise and good-will! Interviewing for a new job or spearheading a project? Be clear about what your goals are, and don't go overboard trying to sell yourself: you'll have no trouble getting the attention you desire and deserve.
