Libra Mom Horoscope: February 20 – February 26
Hut, two, three, four! It’s time to get in shape, Libra—and not just to fit into that sexy bathing suit you got on super sale in December, but also to improve your overall quality of life. The Sun moves into your sixth house of health and organization on Monday, and excuses like “I don’t have time to work out” or “I’m running after the kids all day, so doesn’t that count?” no longer hold water. Do what you need to do to get your fitness routine in gear: join a great gym, invest in a few sessions with a trainer, or dip your toe into Yoga or Pilates. Just watch that you don’t spend too much time comparing yourself to the other moms on the playground or being over-critical of your body (or the bodies of your kids): strive to love the body you’re in, curves and all, and don’t let those little ones see you getting negative in front of the mirror. Lead them down the right track by stocking the fridge with lots of fresh fruit and veggies, and by purchasing organic and local products whenever possible.
Accountability is important now, as well: invest in a beautiful day-planner to keep your schedule in working order, or use an online calendar that syncs with your smartphone, your desktop, and your laptop so that you only have to make notes in one place (bonus: you can access your calendar anywhere there’s internet…which is everywhere, now). Libra, you’re not exactly known for you punctuality, but make it your goal now to stay on top of your integrity, especially when it comes to managing your day-to-day activities.
Tuesday’s new moon in this same sector of your chart will usher in a six-month period of growth and opportunity, so set some goals: want to wear the clothes you wore before you had the two kids, or want to have the house running like a well-captained ship? You can do it, Libra…all it takes is a lot of hard work and discipline.
As for this weekend, the moon moves into your seventh house of committed relationships, where it joins unpredictable Uranus. You could have an eye-opening discussion with your partner, or maybe you’re yearning for a little independence from that all-consuming “couple energy.” Take a break, if you need it—chances are, you’ll come back together stronger than ever.
